Dear Colleagues,
The III International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery is approaching fast. Between September 22nd and 24th, 2022 Lublin will have the occasion, again, to host world class experts in technologically advanced minimally invasive surgery. This already becomes a rule that we meet in Lublin – a beautiful city, symbolically located at the border of tradition of many cultures.
We have the honour of inviting you, in the name of the Organizational and Scientific Committee of the III International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery, to actively participate in this event, which grew so important for our community. The scientific agenda will, already traditionally, include sessions covering various areas of minimally invasive surgery, and in particular in the field of gastrointestinal diseases, development of new simulation methods for postgraduate training of residents, implementation of new surgical methods and medical technologies in both in general surgery, and practically in all surgical disciplines, the perspectives of robot surgery and interdisciplinary international cooperation. The Congress will host group of outstanding surgeons, representing well known centres of minimally invasive surgery from both Poland and abroad.
Many of you, remembering the previous, warmly welcomed editions of the Congress, the high scientific level of its sessions, must already be eagerly awaiting the possibility of direct participation in scientific meetings. Unfortunately we are unable to tell, at least at this moment, what the final form of this year’s meeting will be. The subsequent waves of the COVID-19 pandemic render all plans uncertain. What we consider, apart from stationary sessions, is also the format of hybrid panels, conducted in part, or completely online. This does not alter the fact that, as its Organizers, we will make every effort to make the III International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery meet your expectations concerning familiarization with current achievements in the field of minimally invasive surgery, provide you with the opportunity to exchange opinions with experts and participate in social events.
